The children also played the instruments along with the band members.
We saw four-year-old Raghav having fun playing the drums. His mother shared, “Raghav loves drumming. He has varied interests like drumming and soccer at such a young age. He is a confident performer and festivals like these make him better. I think many more such festivals should be organized so that it can provide opportunities to new talents.”
Another parent, Monika Kapoor, who came along with her daughter Rehaan, said, “My kid enjoyed the storytelling and poetry sessions. She also didn’t hesitate when she was called on stage to do a poetry recital.”
Crystal, who was busy helping her son David at the activity corner, said, “It is refreshing to attend a different kind of festival. These things really encourage kids.”
Pooja Goyal, the organizer of the festival, said, “It was a special treat for the children when they performed with Roy Roberts and his band members. The children also had a lot of fun at the reading garden corner, decorating ginger bread, cupcakes and cookies, and making animal from balloons.”
